The Black Bull Xmas Menu

Two courses £18.95  –  Three Courses £21.95

Starters;

-Homemade french onion soup served with a parmesan crisp

-Baked goats cheese with a hazelnut cruse served wuth balsamic onions

-Chicken liver and brandy pate served with chutney

-Haslet with plum chutney and warm crusty bread

- Prawn and crayfish salad with a chilli and mango salsa

-Sticky chicken wings in a spiced plum sauce

Mains;

-Traditional roast turkey with all the trimmings.

- Blade of beef, mashed neeps with braised red cabbage and a red wine jus topped with parsnip crisps.

-Chicken supreme with a thyme gravy served with potato and celeriac dauphinoise and buttered spinach

-Mushroom tart served with lyonnaise potatoes.

-Cod wrapped in parma ham with a chive mash and lemon butter sauce.

Desserts;

- Mince pie cheesecake with chocolate orange ice cream.

- Traditional christmas pudding and brandy sauce

- Chocolate sponge roulade filled with black cherries and fresh cream.

-Lemon Possett with biscotti

- Cheese and Biscuits with plum bread- stilton, brie and cheddar.
